I'm rebuilding this site to be more personal than portfolio.

The old version was a CV in HTML — a list of jobs, certificates, and projects with no real voice. Useful, but not mine. This one is supposed to feel more like a notebook: half-formed thoughts, things I learned today, books I'm working through, projects I haven't finished.

Why now

A few reasons converged:

• I miss long-form writing. Twitter rewards hot takes, LinkedIn rewards corporate prose, and neither one is what I want.
• I have opinions about UI craft that don't fit on a CV.
• I've been reading more and want a place to keep track of it.

What's here

The /thoughts section (this one) is for essays — anything longer than a few paragraphs. /til is for one-paragraph "today I learned" notes. /readings is what I'm working through. The rest is still being built.
